What is that dock like on the left side? Is that just folders placed there? Cause when I rearrange my desktop icons they all reset back to default location.

I finally have something that I'm proud to share after following these threads for the past month or two. I still have a few small questions though:
For one, is there a way for me to get rid of the parentheses around my battery life and make that text smaller?
And does anyone know of a bowtie theme similar to "Simple Bar" except instead of the rating it has either controls or the run time or whatever? Thanks!

My dock in order:
Finder / Dashboard / Mail / Safari / iChat / iTunes / Album Cover Finder / Quicktime / Final Cut Express / iPhoto / Preview / Photoshop CS3 / Word / Text Edit / iCal / System Prefs / Candybar / Firefox / Docs / Downloads / Trash

I can upload the background if anyone wants it. I don't remember where I got it but it's either off of here or macthemes.
 
Fgozalo? how did you get the dock to look like that??? it looks well nice;
minimalist and quite cool. Any particular tools? i have candybar and geektool :)
