also, mean, moody, and vindictive
However, those are three that I most assuredly did.

MontyZ said:Some of the contestants are WAY bitchier than Martha, and that's just not right!
Deepdale said:It is becoming very difficult to get behind someone and really want them to win. From a viewers perspective, it is more a matter of finding the inner strength to tolerate varying degrees of behavior -- prospective employers would likely find many of the antics unacceptable in their workplace environment.
During Martha's last conference room session, she criticized the project manager for her failure to control Jim's over-the-top behavior by not directly confronting him about his comments that a shopper brought to the store manager's attention, or by reassigning him to a different task that would have utilized his "skills" more efficiently without requiring any public interaction.
She specifically mentioned to the dismissed PM that "as a prosecutor, you should have been able to handle him." I disagreed with her decision not to dump Jim at that most opportune time, but Martha must have strong opinions of prosecutors from her recent trial. Maybe getting rid of a prosecutor was more important to her than stringing along a jerk of a contestant for another week or so.
Peter Griffin said:What ticks me off above all that though is how they try to tweak some aspects of the show to differentiate it from Trump's version such as the letter written in the end.I hope Martha modifies her letter for when Jim goes bye-bye. Short and sweet: "Dear Jim, your hyperactivity plus loud, obnoxious and confrontational behavior have worn out the welcome mat. I am so relieved that some other company will have to deal with the likes of you. In the days to come, expect a collection of my finest towels to dry your eyes with. Love always, Martha."
Is it just me, or does it appear as though they hire one or two screwballs every season to be one of the "contestants" who never get fired until midway.
TV without high drama caused by those embarrassing misfits would be unthinkable. There have to be those individuals that make the audience intensely dislike them. This season, on both MS and DT's shows, there is an abundance of candidates to choose from.
MontyZ said:Well, The Donald's Apprentice takes the cake this week for firing FOUR people at the same time.
jefhatfield said:in those cases when a person can't be singled out from the team for the loss, the project manager (in this case bethany) should have been sent home
jefhatfield said:some of the contestants who have been kicked off are incredibly accomplished, like attorney jennifer who handles 20-30 cases a day as a prosecutor, but her great skills as a lawyer didn't transfer to martha's home and cooking business
Deepdale said:Handling 20-30 cases a day as a prosecutor? Justice must be frighteningly swift in her part of the country. Forget about Martha's business ventures ... Jennifer should have been nominated by Bush for the Supreme Court.
jefhatfield said:i guess that could be a career move for jennifer![]()
Deepdale said:You've got that right. Could she (or basically anybody else) be a poorer choice than Harriet Miers? Anything is possible, but it would be doubtful.
jefhatfield said:...btw, who do you want to win this thing, and who do you think will win the apprentice/martha stewart?
Deepdale said:Amanda certainly has a chance, especially if Martha finds her brand of aggressiveness appealing (I don't). However, a blunt style and fondness for wanting to be a camera hog may also work against her once a player's overall strengths and weaknessess are evaluated.
jefhatfield said:now amanda and her aggressiveness is gone and i am glad...her inability to be a team player finally showed to martha
i still think ryan can win and it will be between him and leslie from what i think this week...if dawna gets more proactive she can last until the last episode and go against ryan
Deepdale said:Jim has definitely improved ... his Achilles heel revolves around his overactive mind evaluating the risk of doing something outlandish and then alienating those that he is trying to impress. When Jim's time for dismissal comes, I expect sharp comments to be directed at him from Charles Koppelman for some of his bizarre antics.
Yesterday's reward for the winning team was one of the better ones. Martha's home in Maine was beautiful and it must be very memorable traveling on a Gulfstream jet..The cruise around the lake was relaxing and they had a good chance to leave Alexis with some positive memories.
jefhatfield said:he he...maybe jim's recent improvements and new attitude gave him an opportune chance to really woo alexis during the boat trip and she really likes him now...he he...he could...cough cough...win/QUOTE]
With his brash style, it is always possible for Jim to make an inappropriate comment. If only he had said something like that to Alexis, the next image would have been classic ... Jim being pushed overboard into the lake with Alexis saying, "After you swim to shore and arrive at the house, make sure you are thoroughly dry before coming back inside. There will be plenty of my mother's towels waiting for you at the front door."
