IS IT SOLVED YET??? sry didn't read the above ans..they were so many..just tel me if it is solved yet or not?..i will give it a try then

I believe-

RCB=56*
ABC=43*
OAD=75*

First one is simple, using the fact that there is a right angle.

Second one requires alternate segment theorem (as above in post 17).

Third one is a case of working out OCA which is the same as OAC (isosceles) and adding it to CAD to get 75*.

No, this is not a hint, this is a death sentence. You can't make this assumption based on the fact that you don't know the length of those segments. All we can go on are the angles.

Just to point out that LostSoul's right. COA=2CBA based on the 'Angles at the centre and circumference' rule.

well done!!

You know, if you are going to act smug about having only spent 5 minutes on a math problem, you probably should do the problem correctly..

OP didn't ask for the problem to be done correctly. He asked for our reasoning towards the problem. That is what I gave him. That it took me 5 minutes is the truth. That it is correct is up to you find out, not me.

I did it as a way of showing OP another way of thinking about it. Now if you disagree, why not post your answer to it instead of just quoting me? That's more constructive, don't you think?

Granted the OP asked not to be spoon-fed, and you can't get less spoon-fed than giving an incorrect answer. :D

I was obviously referring to the angles. Sorry, I thought it was literally obvious I didn't even bother to write it.

People, this problem is *very* easy. It took me 5 minutes (TOPS) to go through the whole thing.

Five minutes is quite a long time, no offence intended.
I could understand if it was an abstract harmonic analysis problem, but this is really something everyone can figure out.
