firmware
I could never change the Region problem. I still have the MacBook (it was running with Tiger too and it is a 2006 model) and since about 8 months I migrated it completely (no partition) to Linux Mint, Quiana, Cinnamon. With about a quarter of memory that Tiger used, works perfectly. With updated free software, browsers, internet access and the Video Region thing resolved. The only thing I havent been able to make work is the camera (also a firmware problem), but I don care about it. Try it, it isn't even difficult.
Hi,
Does anyone still have the 2.1 firmware update as Rapidshare has now closed so the first posts links are broken.
I just got an old MacBook running Tiger and would like to do the firmware update but of course without 2.1 I'm stuck.
Thanks.

Should anyone else require the firmware there's the above pre-modded 2.1 versions link.
