Thanks for the responses guys

I've been to the apple store and played with both, but the conditions in there are probably where glossy looks it's best. So I'm still uncertain.

That's slightly bizarre, as the bright environment of the Apple store is where the Glossy screen is not in an optimal environment and should look worse.

If you look at them again, make sure they're at the same brightness level, and move your head around so you can see the reflections. If it still doesn't bother you, then it looks like glare won't be a factor in the decision, only the colour representation.
