I've got a 100gb partition for Windows so I really need to maximize space but don't want to get rid of recovery. In my experience with slimming applications, they can do more harm than good (same with Windows driver cleaning and registry cleaning stuff). So I think I'll keep it how it is.
I've googled for some info and didn't fine much. Interested in things like a shared Steam folder that both Lion and and Windows can use. I know I can probably do this via symbolic links. Looks like I'll have to use third party apps if I want to write to NTFS from Lion and vice versa to HFS+. A symbolic link to an external drive that's FAT32 or whatever obviously would be a better route to go and provide unlimited space. It's just for load times purposes, some games I prefer on the SSD. Skyrim's loading jutter from walking into new areas is minimized significantly on the SSD.
getting rid of deep sleep will save you the amount of ram you have. i saved 8gb. its pretty much useless in lion.
