May 13 - May 27???? canceling pre order

meh...... not convinced millions are ordering.... they just weren't ready and had no stock available!

these watches are like jack in the box where they don't make it until after you place your order.

You absolutely will not be able to purchase in the store. Apple has already made that clear.
 
I feel your pain, OP.

I ordered at 2:03am CDT, got my confirmation email at 2:04am, and I have a shipping date of 5/13-5/27. Does it really matter? No, not really, but I was hoping to get it on launch day. I am a tech junkie so I'm a bit agitated that I ordered so quickly to have shipping estimates slip that fast. I won't be cancelling my order.

The frustrating thing, my brother ordered the exact same watch at the exact same time as me (I used Apple Pay on my iPhone 6 and he didn't use Apple Pay since he has a 5s) and he has the 5/24 shipping date... he better not get his before me! :mad:

Either way, I'm excited to take delivery! Let's just hope it ships sooner than they say. :apple:
 
I also upset, but I won't be canceling. I'm upset because Apple pay didn't work the way I thought it was going to. I had everything set up and ready and when I tried to purchase it, it kept asking for my billing and shipping address when it was already THERE! I could even see it on my order, but I had to retype it for some stupid reason! thats probably why I'm getting it in may instead of April :(

Honestly, that doesn't probably make a difference.
 
Did you call apple to see if you can get it for store pickup when it's available? That's what i'm going to do after work.

I am back and forth on it ... I would be surprised if they had a launch day stock of less than 500k. But don't think they would have had more than 2 - 3 million. The original rumors I heard was that happen ordered 5 - 6 million for launch. But had those supplies drastically reduced because of low display yields.

Now order wise, I don't think it is crazy to think they have had 1 - 2 million orders since midnight. Let's say they can make 300,000 a month. Thats a very low estimate since they make something crazy like 300k - 500k iPhones a day.

They have been making them since January. By launch day that could put it at ~1.2 million. Production will continue to ramp up so by May (where many estimates are) they could have made close to 2 million.
