Got this last month. Not sure how I missed getting it!

I also try and reduce the goal. Down to 6.4 miles a day from 6.9. Helps when I know I have a day of meetings tomorrow for example.

Exactly this. I always try to push through the daily goal early in the month to reduce the daily rate to attain the monthly goal total... it may be psychological, but it just seems to work better for me, as well. One never knows what challenges tomorrow will bring.

Good luck to everyone making progress towards their monthly challenges!

I finally was able to run this past weekend - my twisted ankle is almost entirely healed (bruising completely gone, a minor bit of swelling on the top of the foot, and occasional twinges in the ankle itself). But walking is fine, and jogging at a little bit slower pace for shorter distances (2.5 to 4 miles) is good as well.

I hoping to be back on track next month. Because I have a 15 mile run on steep terrain on Labor Day weekend and a half marathon on hilly terrain in mid-September and I don't want to have to skip them.
