April is behind us and onto May. What’s everyone’s challenges this month?! For me, it’s time to crack up my walking legs.

Nothing earth shattering. Prepare a decent sales advertisement with photographs for an apartment I want to sell, not that it will sell any time soon. Update my CV for when it is possible to find a new job, again probably not any time soon. Figure out if / how I can ship blood pressure medication from the UK to Philippines or find a doctor who can give me a prescription for a suitable alternative available here in Manila. Continue to find new ways to entertain my daughters whist under lockdown.

Erm, I think you’re in the wrong thread. :p

Ok, here we go. Looks like Apple is CHALLENGING me again. Here’s what I got:

So, it will take effort, but I did something the other day that I figured would help prepare me for whatever Apple might throw my way. I asked a friend to give me a single digit number between 1 and 9. He picked 7. I decided that I will log a minimum of 7 miles per day in some fashion - walk, run or bike - every day in May.

Oof, 75 minutes of exercise minutes a day. Eminently doable when I had hour lunch break walks I could take, now it's a big stretch. Probably no chance of this one.

April: Get off your arse four times. :)
May: Close every ring every day. :(

Doable but I really dislike challenges that don't give you a day off. These things are supposed to be for fun and pushing a daily exercise regime without breaks is not a good fitness strategy.

I should mention that I’m excited to announce I ordered a Series 5 Apple Watch from Best Buy using their price match to get the $329.99 Costco advertised price. This will be and upgrade from the series 1 I’ve been sporting since my series 0 had to be replaced when the face became detached. But that’s another story.

I will also add that despite the face that Costco was backordered on the Space Gray and Silver models until June, Best Buy honored the price match and I’ll have it by next Wednesday!!

Now, back to your challenges.
