AOL is for my mom - who still doesn't get the concept that different apps do the same thing as AOL - better. But for her, I actually rather have her stay in one application then mess up Safari, AIM, and Mail. It's easier for old, non tech savvy folks like middle aged parents.bursty said:AOL and AIM?!

I personally don't mind AIM. I hate iChat actually - probably the one Mac application I never was a fan of. I have Adium on the TiBook, but I find it more... I dunno, just not as clean cut as AIM.

Edit: Psychopulse, two questions. How in the hell did you get that whale do fit into the background so perfectly and have it as a folder? I'm amazed.

The Whale is an icon from the "NewZealand" set by Cian Walsh
The iTunes - it's a Konfabulator widget called iTunes bar.
Added a few more... in celebration of spring/summer... as you can see from Meteorologist it's nice and "summerly" outside...

"OnyX" can do it and I know there are a few more apps that can too.
I think he means how did psychopulse get his dock in the bottom right corner of the desktop. You need to download Tinkertool. It's worth it! (^_^)
Like Psychopulse said a few posts up.... it's a konfabulator widget called iTunes bar. Konfabulator is a "memory hog" but IMO it is better than Dashboard in some ways.cruxed said:I want to know too!
