Ok can u explain to me how to use graphic converter because i go to save as, and then change the kb to 100 and yet it still saves it as a jpeg at 220 kb.

-Open the image in Graphic Converter, go to Picture > Size > Scale.
-Make sure "Keep Proportions" and "Scale Picture" are checked.
-Enter new values either in inches, or enter a percentage to reduce to (75%, for example).
-As you do so, the size of the image will update under "Memory", so you can see how large the new picture will be. Continue to fine tune your measurements until you've got the size you want.
-Save as a JPG and you should be ready to go.

What am i doing wrong the picture has to be this small in order to fit on the site. Why in gods name doesnt my old method using preview work anymore?

It's my own photoshop of two desktops found at Mandolux.com in the New collection. They can also be found in the Morning/Spring collection. They're called "Spring: Daisy in Pink." The original is actually much more beautiful with pink petals against a black background, but as a slightly insecure red-blooded male I didn't fancy having pink flowers on my desktop, so I also inverted the colors.

Let me know if you'd prefer my version instead—and what resolution you'd like—and I'll gladly send it to you.

TEG, how are you getting the application name next to the Apple menu to show up as the app icon? Thats very cool.

That would be "Fruit Menu", part of the APE group of Applications. However, when you use it, I suggest that you not allow it to modify the Apple menu, as it just makes things more cluttered.

It is called SnapNDrag. Its a basic screen capture program, that is is pretty handy. you can find it here.
