The government already has your Social Insurance Number, your birth certificate, and your financial information, but you go ahead and keep on worrying about them getting your fingerprint. Not sure what you're afraid they'd do with it though. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, some states already require a record of your fingerprint in order for you to be issued a drivers license or other permits.
