Android does run on devices with 2GB or less. It’s it done and feature stripped and is designed for markets like India.

Apple has some secret sauce when it comes to filling up ram. Idk how they do it but it’s crazy good.

Probably they dump a temp file of each app on the storage, and only keeping the link of that app in ram along with a screenshot. Makes sense.
 
This video pretty much ends all the crap being spoken here. The iPhone 11 Pro Max on the latest iOS 13.1.1 vs. a 8GB RAM Galaxy S10 Plus, BOTH pretty much keep as many apps and games as each other in RAM:


Considering the fact that the 11 Pro Max only has 4GB RAM, this is brilliant.
