Updating to Mojave 10.14.6 made this issue go away for me at first, but now it has returned!

For those of you running Catalina, did the problem recur or is it permanently fixed?

Hi all, anyone still getting any more of this artifact stuff? I just got the following issues..
The small square box is the mouse and moves when I move the mouse. I closed the lid unplugged the power and opened it back up and it was totally fine again.
True Tone is off. Given that there isn’t any GPU on this machine, safe to say it’s software.. maybe? Thoughts? I hate going to the Genius Bar...

It happened also to mine Macbook Pro 2019. However I had to disable also "night ****" and after few days I can confirm zero glitches. I have 10.14.6. Anyone can confirm that Catalina really solved the problem?

I haven't seen any reason myself not to update to Catalina. No problems with it. But I know there could be problems if you have certain old programs or similar that do not work well or at all with Catalina, so that is probably good to check first in that case before update.

A couple a few days ago, I got back my MBP from warranty repair. I got a "sticky space bar" so Apple replaced top case with battery and keyboard and also motherboard and touch bar. After this, I don't see any artifacts in Mojave having night shift, true tone, and auto brightness on.

And why do you miss Mojave? I was thinking to update to Catlina however I'm not doing this. Thought that the Catlina is better.

Late reply, but I preferred iTunes as it was, found the OS more stable, and it worked with a few apps I liked that are now borked (not essential ones, but nevertheless stuff i found use for from time to time). The screen glitching is literally the only reason I upgraded.

This is the second time this week on my MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2019, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports)

OS version 10.15.5 (19F96)

Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536 MB
