MBA 15 M2 vs M3

My opinion:

You'll be fine with a MacBook Air, 15" M2. I recommend 16GB Ram/ 512 GB drive. It should last you through the decade.

M2 will be fine for your setup, and I also don't expect M3 MacBooks to come anytime soon

I also think M3 15 MBA's are a ways away. The M2 ones are only three months old.

Very unlikely, based on all the rumors out there. TSMC's N3B yield rate wasn't good, only 55% a couple of months back. It might be mostly reserved for iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max.
