I saw this thread and when a head and ordered a Zagg invisibleSHIELD. I like to get the newest thing so keeping my old stuff mint really helps with resale. Also if you use the code zagg20 you will get 20% off.

Boohoo get used to it. Thats what happens when you have a machine made out of anodized aluminum. When I first got a PowerBook a while back I was like you, I freaked and was so angry. Now I have tons of little scratches on the case but they don't bother me anymore since the screen is still fine and its still a very sexy machine. The scratches aren't as noticable as you think .

"Boohoo get used to it" says the guy who "freaked and was so angry" when it first happened to him...

anyway to the OP, it hasnt happened to me and hopefully it never will...but I feel your pain. Sure these things happen but its not nice when they do.

I remember when I was looking over the uMB in the apple store, I asked one of the store reps, assistant, geniuses or whatever... how easy it was to scratch the case...He said not easy at all and picked up one of the acrylic blocks that displays the specs & prices and started using the corner to scratch the top case:eek: I admit it held up pretty well under his force, only leaving slight white marks to his surprise.. but then he kind of rubbed it away.

But I cant imagine anyone would want to do anything as stupid as that :D
