Yes much nicer. Thanks for that. Could you also make a profile with more like the TV gamma?

PS. You seem to know a lot about displays. Can you tell me why the display is twice as bright under windows XP?

Sorry, I'm mot that expert you may think.

The only difference between Mac OS and Windows I know is that Mac OS uses a gamma of 1.8 and Windows uses a gamma of 2.2.

My second profile uses sRGB which is nearly 2.2. So if you run it on your Mac colours look more like an a pc.

I think even NTSC uses a gamma of 2.2. For this the second profile should be the "more like the TV gamma" already.

Ok cool. I'm using the second now.

If I need to work outside I'll probably use windows as it is a lot brighter.

Actually the difference on max brightness is quite small. This picture was made with the same sunlight but now in Windows.

Maybe it's not so much the brightness difference that I see but the digital vibrance. The colors have more punch, they're more vivid. While in Os X they're more soft. I prefer the Windows look.

(Windows left, OS X right)

@omafrieda Thank you so much. Both profiles are awesome and helped me a lot. I just got a replacement display: B133EW07 V1 - 00009CC2 - C581B800 display. Thanks! :)
