MBP availability in stores?

I just called my local store (Old Orchard, IL), they really do not know when they will get them. They said maybe today, but it could next week. Ordering online states delivery dates of Oct 29th. I have been waiting patiently but really need one ASAP. Any info out there regarding stock would be appreciated.

I bet the stores will get them before a week's time, but quantity will be unknown, and if you need something other than the stock configuration, I would order online right now.

Yeah, looking for stock maxed 13 ($1,799). Also, I get a corp discount and need to buy at brick & mortar.

My apple store said maybe tomorrow but generally they have no clue what they're talking about in regards to new products.

Unfortunately, the situation at stores is different. I called The Grove's Apple Store and after waiting in a 12-call line, they said they have no information whatsoever on when they're getting them. Bummer. I want one now.

Just called Victoria Gardens and they said they are clueless. :confused: You would think they should have some sort of idea when.
 
Yeah, I went to the North Michigan Ave and Lincoln Park Apple Store and they didn't have any of the new ones.

I don't want to wait 6 days to take delivery, especially if i'm paying nearly $300 in taxes. I could have it shipped to NH and then out to CA if I wanted to wait that long.


Ugh, first world problems to their fullest.

I was approved for 18 months no financing but am unsure whether I should just pull the trigger and wait 6 days or wait and hopefully see one by the end of the week in stores, snatch it up there instead.

And does anyone know if that offer applies in-store if I'm approved via the online store? I've got half the money to throw at it and then the rest once my 11" MBA and 13" MBP sell.

Which sucks cause thats where i got mine at, so I want to return and get the new one of course.

this is definitely an error. she must have meant first week of november.

18 months interest free financing if I get it from there. >.<

Though I'm not too worried about it, I'm already an Elite Plus Member which has an extended return/exchange policy.
 
I keep reading that most new models are usually available in store the day after they are released. I hope that's true this time as well.
 
After several apple stores in my area said they had no idea, I decided to call one of the better stores located further from my house (Tysons Corner, VA). They said they would be getting theirs tomorrow. I asked if it was remote only to them, they that all apple stores (atleast in the DMV area) should have them by tomorrow.

I REALLY hope this is true for the Sweden Apple stores also. :S
 
just got of the phone. sydney australia cbd just said they have the new retinas in stock! im out the door, cya!
 
I ordered from the UK Store a couple of hours before midnight (UK time) and have been quoted day after tomorrow (24th) for delivery; nearest Apple store is about 15/20 miles from me so usually always use the online store. :)
