MBP availability in stores?

If there aren't any in stock today, surely tomorrow there will be. All models ship within 24 hours on the online store, so there's no excuse for the brick and mortar stores not to have any.

good news maybe...the "check availability" option in the apple store app is open now. right now they only say "ship to store" but it could be because the local apple stores aren't open yet. so once they check them into inventory i hope they'll have them today.

I spoke to a couple stores in the DC area yesterday and they said there will be shipments of the new machines arriving today. I called again this morning and the shipments have not yet arrived, but should be in the store later this afternoon.
 
The Apple Store in Westfield White City had limited stock of some 8GB RAM models. No 16GB, didn't see any i7.

This is correct, I was just at my store. They said once they arrive later today, they get added as inventory immediately and will then show up as "available" on the online apple store.
 
All models available at the Highcross Leicester store in the UK, picked up a 13" i5/256/8GB Model :)

Just called the Fort Worth store and they said they have them but they aren't out yet and they're expecting them tomorrow.
 
Just called apple store in Stockholm, Sweden. They didn't know exactly when they would get the new pros but expected them shortly.
 
called two Pittsburgh stores. One didn't have them yet but sounded like they expected them... the other just got them in as I was calling.

I guess so. I called one in Dallas (i'm an equal distance from both cities) and he said they're still in transit and expected in the next couple days. There are several Apple stores in DFW so I'm just going to wait til the afternoon and call around to a couple.They've only been open an hour and a half so I'll give them time to put things in inventory and whatnot.

Same in Munich. They have them, but they don't sell them. It seems to depend on the store manager, when they start selling them...

Even though they promise in their press release:

"Pricing & Availability

The website is telling me they're available but the phone calls are telling me otherwise...

Any call any Resellers like Best Buy to see if they have gotten any in yet? Unfortunately I have to go through them. >.<
 
Currently at the Northridge Apple Store which according to the website is apparently the only Apple store in the LA area that received a shipment today. I ordered mine online and half hour later they sent me a text saying its ready for pickup. Now I'm standing here waiting, seems so disorganized here. Will update hopefully with good news. I drove an hour to get here!
 
Just picked mine up in NJ. In and out. I don't think the employee even knew that it was the new one. :rolleyes:
 
Called one store. they had them. went. they told me they couldn't sell them to me yet.

Called another one in the parking lot because it was only 20 minutes away. They had them. I asked if they could for sure sell them and they said yes. Got there and walked out within 10 minutes with a brand new haswell MBP :)
 
Just got mine in Illinois, looked like there was plenty of availability at all the other Chicago area stores when I checked online.

Picked up the base 15" rMBP at the Rockingham Park Mall in Nashua, NH yesterday afternoon. Mine was literally the first one they sold.
