I was slightly dissapointed because:

1) they gave me no number for a courier
2) they gave me no name for a courier
3) their expected date for delivery on the apple track was today

In my experience, the quote for delivery from Apple's site has been a little bit off. They really have no idea when the package will ship as they lose connection with it once the courier gets a hold of it. Over here, they shipped to me with UPS, and UPS's delivery date was quite accurate. In fact, I actually got my computer a day earlier than my scheduled delivery date.

Question for you though. Why didn't you have the package delivered to your place of work or somewhere that you know somebody could pick it up for you? Then you wouldn't have had to take the day off of work.

I ordered two MBPs on the 14th due to arrive on the 26th. After moaning at Apple, since I ordered two, they're going to let me have something for free of the Apple Store (reasonably priced) for the delay. (eg Magic Trackpad)

They also assured me that it would be Thursday when I get my computers at the very latest.
