Ulf, lass es sein!

Get your MBP now, get the 13" and be happy. Don't buy it for gaming purposes or to attract women or to feel better. You will render yourself a Vollidiot. Use it for work. Your work will be studying and most of it still is done with pencil, paper and your brain.
So calm down and MAYBE you could buy a used MBP first. I assume it will be your first mac so it will be sufficient for work. A friend of mine uses a 5 year old MB which is as fast as my 2 Year old model when it comes to daily tasks. Everything will be sufficient and a highly speced i7 SSD for word processing... forget it.. it simply waste of money.

I think the New MBP's are likely to be released sooner than later now that a new version of Final Cut Pro is out there. Expect to see this announcement before school starts up again. I believe Apple will hold MacBook/Air/Mini's until their September Event, thus being able to announce another product before then is entirely possible. It may coincide with the Lion launch in July.

I'll be programming on the MBP. so a good GPU is necessary. I've seen wath I'll be doing so I'll need a food GPU. And for the programming a 17" screen would be really handy… So, I berthed can spent a little bit more and Hebe a supper laptop :)

The sptember event, is their an official date for it, or a week?
I'll think I'll wait for the event and then I'll decide.
