I have a off the wall question. How did you get all that information about the battery? What program did you use? Is it part of OSS or is it a program you down loaded? Just wondering.

Press the apple logo - about this mac then system report :)

The verdict is that they do not recommend repairing my mac as the logic board has liquid damage to it - however it is not confirmed that any parts on the logic board is damaged..

And the guy told me that the battery connector on the logic board seems to work and get connection with the battery.. So changing topcase will make the battery work.. but he cannot say for sure it will..

Is there anything I can clean on the battery that might make it work somehow?

If I buy a multimeter and disconnect the battery from the battery connector on the logic board.. use the power cord and use the multimeter on the battery connector will this give me any information I need? Or it doesnt matter I should buy a third party battery to see if it can charge the new battery? =)

I bought a multimeter to test the battery connector on the logic board... i used VAC instead of VDC.. now it wont start even with the charger in.. must be some short circuit - you think is easily fixed if I leave it at a repairshop?

I put the red on one side and the black on the opposite pin with the charger in..
