MBP Sleep Light Indicator Query.

hi all,

just a snapshot question... does the MBP sleep light indicator come on when the display is put to sleep? i set my display to sleep at 5 mins thereafter 15 mins for the machine to sleep. however my sleep light indicator comes on steady when the display sleeps.

never happened until i replaced the topcase due to a power button fault. so am i just wondering if it got fixed or the macbook pro is worse off after servicing.

Sounds normal. When the backlight is off (even with case closed & external monitor) and the computer is awake, the "sleep" light is on steady.
