MBP to Sony home theater system

i want to hook up my Penryn MBP to my sony home theater av receiver to avoid buying two seperate speakers, one for my Sony HDTV and one for my MBP. How would i do this and what cables would i need to purchase?
 
For audio, you should be able to go with optical TOSLINK. You need a 3.5mm adapter, then plug into the audio out port.

For video, DVI to HDMI.
