Not right! Just look at the signalbars(dots in this case). They just took image from Google and put their current app over it. Clearly a publicity stunt from McDonald's to gather more attention.
If they did that then someone is entitled for payment for use of their image. I'm sure McD's would be upset if somone grabbed an image off Google that was theirs and did the same thing.

well done Mcd's, way to take advantage of all the rabid attention apple product speculation gets on social media, blogs, and sites... Applaud the individual who came up with that idea.... On another note, i really hope Apple makes that info bar at the top black to blend in with the notch because I'm not liking that look at all.

I don't know whether I hate protruding cameras or hate rat nibbled notched displays more.
Both solutions are just so unrefined and ridiculous. Apple design has lowered its standards.
This is how beautiful refined design looks. This is iPhone 5c. No notches. No protruding cameras.
Now, imagine that white plastic was actually glass.
Rethink your rubbish design, Apple!

Agreed. I really want to not use a case on my iPhone 7 but I cant stand the rocking while typing on table. I'd go back to SE or some form of successor.

Pretty shoddy Photoshop for a multi-billion dollar company, but there you go... Wonder if laymen looking at it recognise it's an 'iPhone 8' mockup or think they just accidentally stuck a big blob in the middle of the screen at the top!

Yeah, I hope that they will not wonder the same after the device is launched.

How is it "poorly cropped"? Because they excluded bottom portion of the phone? Rather sure that was intentional.

So we should call this Ad: The Mac and Cheese? ;)

BTW...that Menu icon has a Big Mac theme going on all its own.

McRumors!

Rather than believe it's a cheeky 5-minute photoshop, I like to think they sent the hamburgler to Apple's R&D dept, just for the mental image.

Whether you want to also think about him being chased out by a clown is entirely optional, depending on how you feel about this design.
:D You've made my morning!

Yeah, usually they have to keep quiet about this sort of thing ...
Oh jeez, Rick, I-I don't know. What if McDonald's starts making Szechuan sauce again and rips a hole in spacetime or something?

I'm Not Lovin' It

Fascinating Fact: Did you know that the same machine that makes the polystyrene containers is the same one tjat does the hamburgers?
Did you know that Maccy D's are actually nutritional? They are. But only if consumed with food simultaneously. Cheers!

Wait...is this advertising McDonald's delivery? Damn, how do I get me some McDonald's delivered? Wait, no...slippery slope.

Because it's a generated render they used to obviously to market themselves accordingly with the alleged iPhone display. McDonald's knew what they were doing. Burger King did something similar with a Siri commercial and it caused a stir.

Ha I can see it now; Macdonald's being sued for copyright infringement for a mockup on an unreleased product where the information is being stolen from Apple or their manufacturers.
He would have no case against MD, after all, he's giving out leaks.

I've seen these mockups all over, with that hideous top of the display physical black surround for the cameras and sensors. If it looks like that, wow. I know, when the screen is BLACK it won't be as noticeable, but when it's white it will really look horrible IMHO. As well, there doesn't seem to be much real estate at the top of the screen for thing like Carrier network, VPN status, any future notifications that might be enabled in the top of the menu display. I get it from a physical design standpoint but from an aesthetic standpoint it really stands out as poor design. Its just one of those things that people will say "if Steve were alive, it wouldn't have ever seen the light of day".

Sure, why not? It's a computer mockup render of a non-existant product. It's not like it's a stolen prototype or anything.
Exactly, what’s all this confusion about? The product literally doesn’t exist, it’s a generic smartphone at this point. Seriously, do people think McDonalds have connections with Apple to see the iPhone early? Honestly....

If Apple is going with bars for the signal strength indicator in iOS 11, they better get rid of the round speaker holes on the bottom of the iPhone. I liked the visual continuity between the two on the iPhone 6 and 7.

On another note, i really hope Apple makes that info bar at the top black to blend in with the notch because I'm not liking that look at all.

Completely agree! I was just about to post the same thing, Gaining the space wasted by the signal bar etc is great but not the notch looks awful, at the very least they need this an option.
