Well you see I don't want anyone looking at what I'm doing on-line (I like full privacy) . On My Dell Precision T5500 PC (It's a monster machine 12 cores 24 threads) , I use IPVanish.. I pay just $80 a year and I was hoping the get a VPN program that can run on my Quad running Leopard...

Ah, maybe the inbuild VPN-protocols might serve you for that purpose and you don't have to install additional software. In my case my previous and current have the "Cisco IPSec" protocoll as their standard-routine. Maybe experienced people would be able to establish a connection with the protocols, that come with Leopard - unfortunately not me ... :(
So for VPN-work I ended up using my 2008 MacBookPro as my main driver. I wish I was able to get vpntracker 5 connect to my office-server, but several attemps (despite of @lastics great support) didn't succeeded.

Ok You see errrrr I like Utorrent HEH..Anyway here's pictures of my Quad (running leopard) that I bought for repair or spares.. A new PSU brought the beast back to life...

Oh, I did replace the DVD drive for a one that supports both DVD + and - Plus I got a wireless mouse too (I didn't like the original USB Mac mouse at all)...

Now that it's up and running..What the heck do I do with it...

Can you give me some advice as to what a Quad can do in this day and age.. (My favorite game is Unreal Tournament, and it won't install on OS X Leopard)

What version of UT do you have? Pretty sure the 2004 UT should work - if that is what you have.

I have the first one UT99..But here's the list That I've collected so far..But no applications yet..
Doom
Doom 3
Aliens v Predator
Halo
Quake 4
Prey
Star Trek Elite Force
Return of Castle Wolfensetin
UT2004
Marathon 2
Marathon Infinity

as for OS X I have
Leopard server
Leopard 10.5
Leopard 10.5.6

Looking around a bit - I think that UT99 will need Tiger or older, because the game is OS9 native, and you need the classic environment to get that to work in OS X. Support for the Classic environment was dropped in Leopard.
If you want to run some of those older games, then that might be a good reason to continue to use Tiger. You would also need an OS 9 system folder to get that to work.

In Leopard, fire up Disk Utility and add a new partition ~20-30GB for Tiger. Disk Utility in Leopard can non-destructively add, resize and remove partitions without erasing your data.

You can then install 10.4 on this smaller partition, update to 10.4.11 and install Mac OS 9.2.2 on this partition. You can then dual boot and step into Tiger or Leopard at startup by holding the option key or by setting the Startup Disk in System Preferences.

OK that'll work.. Thanks..

Oh how do I get to Disk Utility inside Leopard..

Spotlight search “Disk Utility” it should be at /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility.app

I have, as I have put the Disk Utility in the dock, so I install Tiger on a new partition.. But does Mac OS 9.2.2 go over the top of Tiger???

It does. So you’ll need to copy the Mac OS 9.2.2 “System Folder” and “Applications (Mac OS 9)” folder onto the Tiger partition. This is easiest if you have another Mac with Mac OS 9.2.2 installed already, you can just drag and drop the two folders. Otherwise I’m sure if you search for Classic on your various software download services you’ll find a Classic install disk image which you can copy from.

Reason I mention this is that you can’t just pop in a Mac OS 9 install disc because the G5s won’t be able to boot or install OS9 in the traditional way.

Ok But I only have one PPC (I do have the Mac OS 9.2.2 CD Though). Anyway, I was thinking which is better OS on a G5..Leopard or ubuntu-mate-16.04.1

Depends on your needs. I have my Dual Core 2.3Ghz G5 setup triple boot with Leopard, Tiger (with Classic) and Ubuntu Mate 16.04. Leopard gets the most use.

Many open source packages can be installed on Leopard or Tiger via MacPorts and Tigerbrew. For example, GIMP, QEMU, etc will all install and run fine without Linux.

Guys I installed Leopard Rebirth (I haven't got to Tiger yet) . But how do I replace the background (Wall paper) to macOS Sierra, as I have to make it look like Sierra...

Are you asking how to change the Desktop Background?
(I installed Leopard Rebirth on my eMac, just to make sure that it did not change anything that I say here :D )

Open System Preferences, then Desktop & Screensaver pane.
Click the Desktop tab. You should see a variety of desktop images appear. You may need to click on Apple Images, or one of the other selections in the list on the left side of that window.
Select the background of your choice. In Apple Images, the default Sierra background should be the first choice.
After you select the background, the actual desktop background should change within a few seconds.

Yes, in Mac land a wallpaper is called a Desktop Background (or Desktop Picture).

A quick shortcut is to right click on the desktop (or hold control and click if you have a one button mouse), then choose “Change Desktop Picture...”

I got the original Unreal and Unreal Gold to run on OSX natively but it was a lot of faffing about. Probably would have saved a lot of time to set up a Tiger volume.
