I'm using the 87-key MX Brown on Linux and love it. The keys can be rearranged into a Mac layout and has dip switch settings on the back to put it into a Mac mode.
I’m on the same opinion; my new iMac just arrived, but will use wired extended Apple keyboard from my broken 2009 iMac.
BUT I understand the convenience of cutting the cord, and Matias keyboards look nice! Unfortunately, they don’t explain if usb charging cable serves as device connector also. I think it would be to have best of two worlds, as I trust more a wired kb. I don’t know if Apple wireless kb is recognized if connected the same way as a standard wired kb is. If not, they (Apple and Matias) SHOULD!! (I believe it would be technically possible).
By the way, I have the Apple Wireless Keyboard that came with the iMac in its box, yet. I plan to use it with my iPad Pro... as I don’t need to keep them always together. Going wireless in this case is convenient for my use of the pad.
Strangely (IMHO), Apple wants us to physically attach an expensive (and exclusively dedicated) keyboard to the iPad Pro!
