I've never liked split screen shooters -- only tolerated them, but eh, it's always good to have that option, especially when a buddy is over.

Anyway, the town level is fun. The AI is using more bombs now and of course it's one of those games that spawn enemies on triggered event from areas I can't go. Something I liked about RE:4, is that the bad guys always came from somewhere that made sense. I recall how much System Shock 2 ticked me off when monster appeared out of no where in an area I had just cleared, if I hadn't played and loved the first Shock, I probably wouldn't have ben bothered by it.

Overall it's a good FPS by any standards from my experience, which stems from the very first FPSs on PCs. The online play is FREE and most of my friends have Wiis. I just need to get them to buy the game or get it for them. :)

Mario Kart Wii should be great. I hope they offer LAN play just like the cube and it's just as good as the DS version. And even though I'm tired of Lucas Art's saturation of Star Wars games, I'll be buying the Force.

I'm liking it so far. Not a GOTY by any means...but a solid experience. Looks like EA could be learning their stuff with the Wii? I like the controls and the gameplay is ok...but FPS's have really gone a lot further in total immersion on the other platforms.

Much better. So far the only control I don't like is the dual thrust forward for melee attacks. I think it's a stupid move to make. Otherwise everything is pretty dang easy. I was playing without thinking about the controls in about 5 minutes or less.

Same here on the double thrust. I tried it when they mentioned it and haven't since. The game gives up way too much ammo and there's always a box on the ground when I'm running low.

One part I like, is that when I get hit badly the Wiimote pulsates like a throbbing vein. It just adds that extra touch.

Anyway, I'm in the sewers now getting worked. I wish I could drop to the ground quickly like in Call of Duty -- dodged lots of snipers this way. Crawling on my belly would be helpful in this area.
