Judging by the positive responses in this thread, the problems that I'm having with it are definitely not the norm.

1. Selected to create an account and the app crashed.
2. Tried again and this time the account creation page opened. I picked a name, and while typing my password it blanked out the field that I was typing into and made me start over.
3. Pushed the button to save the account and it crashed.
4. I rebooted the iPod at this point.
5. Tried again to create an account and again had the blanking out issue from step 2.
6. Pushed save and this time it actually came up with "saving" or something similar for a couple of seconds, then crashed.
7. Tried to create the account for the third time and it said that the name already exists. So I went back to the main screen and tried to log in. Crashed.

Obviously you're all doing substantially better than I am, but I'm really posting this to see whether anyone else has had it crash. However, the evidence is pointing to my iPod (which is not jailbroken) needing a restore.

I had a couple issues with getting AIM to sync, but my meebo account and gchat synced fine, however I already had a meebo account for a couple years now. I agree to try and make one online on a comp then restart your device and try it again. They also released an update like today or yesterday I think so make sure to install that if you haven't already before restarting your iPhone/Pod.

I've been using it regularly the past few days and I really like it. Went back to Beejive today and it felt even more sluggish now that I'd gotten accustomed to Meebo's speed.

Also having problems with AIM - it just hangs when trying to sign on, and I'm listed as offline, yet I can log in with the username and password just fine in the regular app.

But Google and Yahoo work immediately

Is it just me or does Meebo refuse to log me in automatically to MSN?

My Meebo login information is saved, my MSN login information is also saved. But starting the app just makes it sit there, asking me to add buddies or to create an account.

Checking the accounts tab, the MSN entry says I'm offline, and clicking the sign on button does nothing but make it load indefinitely.

I have to edit the entry, reenter my password, save the info and then can finally log in.

Yes, connect automatically is checked to on.

I think Meebo is the best multi-account instant messenger I have tried.

It's a shame they haven't included a facility to allow you to edit your Meebo account details - you have to send them an email if you want anything changing.

They need to put status icons in the buddy list. And also they need to fix reporting of Gtalk status. When I set myself as invisible I show up as unavailable, and when i set myself as away i immediately show up as idle (again, in Google Talk). Pretty odd.

*You need to open the installous app in your ipod in order for this to work*
*Do not us appulo.us on your computer because it will not work*
However, the Troll Bridge questions always change ever hour, so good luck finding the answers to other Troll Bridge questions!!!
