Ordered a 42mm SGS Saturday (May 2nd) with the expected shipping to be in July. I'm not holding my breath but a pre authorization charge came through on my card today. Again, I'm not holding my breath but from prior purchases (iPhones, iPods, iPads) shipping wasn't far behind the pre authorization. But who knows. I'll probably end up waiting til July. One can dream though, right?
Ordered a week ago 1 42 SGS AND 1 42 sport white and the only thing I've been charged for is the apple care+

I ordered a 38 SS on April 27 shipped next day,
Returned it and ordered space grey 42 and its July estimate.

Late yesterday afternoon, I got a shipped message for my watch. A 38mm ss with ML band. I was ordered on 4/27 and yesterday morning, it's status was processing so it went almost directly to shipped. Got it just a few minutes ago. It went out overnight. It was a 5/29 to 6/11 date previously so... Two other friends who had ordered the same watch at about the same time got theirs today. Don't lose hope those of you who are waiting.
There is no supply issue for 38mm because demand is so low. It's the 42mm that's the problem
That's standard. Apple will often times do a test authorization after you place the order, and then a few days later, it will drop off your credit card and you won't be charged until the order actually ships weeks/months later.
Same thing for me i agree its going to be a long time.

Ordered Sport SG BSB a couple days ago, cancelled it and ordered SS Classic Buckle today, after seeing photographs of each. Expected delivery is July. Really hoping the latest news on production schedules means I'm not actually waiting that long. UK.
