Besides using the onboard Diagnostic software to test memory, what other options do we have available to us in El Capitan?

It appears the infamous MemTest no longer works under 10.11 and Google isn't churning up much results.

I use TechTool Pro v8.0.3 for Memory Test or other tests, if needed. It has been updated to support El Capitan.

I'm looking at the http://www.memtest86.com/ site and you have to create a bootable disk to use that memtest so it wouldn't use El Capitan. I have a memtest_4.23.dmg (from http://www.memtestosx.org/ I would guess) which I used recently on an El Capitan computer - you have to go into single-user mode to run that one. Am I missing something? Perhaps there's a memtest out there that runs in a GUI?
