Are they giving out free cases to everyone who has purchased the phone before September 30th or only those people who have documented problems with their phones (and purchased before 9/30)?
 
Been saying that for a while now, free bumper or return their iPhone for a full refund. I hope they refund other cases, bought mine from an AT&T store. Wonder how many will actually return their iPhone now?
 
So take it back. Quit crying. Go buy a Droid X. My iPhone4 works just fine without a case. I just don't put my fat fingers on that little 1mm wide spot on the side of the phone. I'll still take a free case though.

I agree, I bought a case on launch day before I bought the phone. Had someone hold my spot, and left to grab it. I don't have the receipt, so it'll be interesting to see how this goes down. Maybe a store credit?
 
Small consolation if you had to buy one almost immediately so you could actually use your phone without worry. So long, Apple. Been nice knowing some of you. As for your douchebag of a CEO, not so much.
 
Have you exchanged it? Will you return it if you're still unsatisfied?

If you do neither, Apple has NO IDEA that you have a problem.
 
Good thing its only .5% of people having problems!! That means over 99% of users are happy!! WOO!! oooh, and we get a FREE "software fix"... problem solved!🙄

What if i return it? Will i still be stuck with ATT? This is a brand new account and i have already paid for this months bill. I just don't like that i cant have the phone naked.

There is nothing more Apple can do bar a complete redesign.

Why keep on at it. I think he was pretty forthcoming, showed us how other phones lose their signal when you hold them in certain ways and said what Apple does to test. He also showed us what they've been doing to find how to rectify the issue and learn from their mistake.

I hate this 'I want the iPhone 4 without the antennae issue' crap.

Be an adult, see that somewhere in their industrial design, they made a mistake. They're paying for it now. Just think, if you accept a case, you'll protect the phone and when it comes to July 2011, your phone will be worth more because you'd have kept it nice and scratch free...

I feel we should have a place so people can help each other out! If you are one of these people who don't want a free bumper, I'll take it 😛

Would pay $10 for the white bumper from someone! Just PM me!
