[Merged] iPad 3G Ship Rumors

I ordered the 64GB WiFi 3G unit and mine has been prepared for shipment. My order was placed on the 12th at shortly after 9am
Nothing yet here, and my order date was April 3rd. No pending charges yet either on my credit card.

Mine has changed to Prepared for Shipment also. So excited. But a little disappointed to find out that I am almost old at 34. Oh well, good thing iBooks can make the font bigger 🙂 I ordered on March 17

Mine still shows Not yet shipped as well. I did get a new pending charge today, although I have not had the on/off charges like most people. This is the first time my card has been charged since it was charged right after I ordered.

I have a feeling there is something wrong with my order. Status hasn't changed and the money has reappeared in my account. Not sure what the deal is, I might need to call them tomorrow.
Mine just changed to Pending shipping in the last 5 mins.😀 Give it another hour, I'm betting you'll catch up.

You have any favorite Mac/iPhone/iPad weather software? Weather has always been a hobby, always looking for good monitoring SW, besides NWS website.
Mine now says "Prepared for shipment," but Ships: late April. My credit card is not showing charged yet on CC web site (of course, that can lag). I ordered first day of preorder, 9:13 AM PDT.
I remember being very nervous last year when the 3GS came out that it wouldn't make it on launch day because it seemed like they shipped it at the last possible moment (the day before I believe) from China. But it did make it - people in these forums were absolutely correct, down to knowing which flights it would be on to get here. So I have faith that if they say it will be here April 30, it will be.

After reading a lot of "Prepared for shipments" and mine not changing I got worried. But it just changed around 10pm EST. Here it comes....
Now I just have to worry about FedEx getting it here. They are a laugh in my area. Usually they just drop off what they are trying to deliver at the post office and have them deliver it. They don't even try. Pretty poor. UPS rules out here. They are great. When I ordered, Apple would not let me use UPS.

A really good iPad/iPhone app is radarscope. A cool Mac software package made here in OK is WeatherScope. While it is heavily weighted to the Oklahoma mesonet, it can and does display national weather data, both at the surface and in the vertical.
Websites, I always check include the Storm Prediction Center and RAP for real-time observations. For current weather data + model forecast data I like OU's Hoot and Penn States e-Wall.
Same here! FedEx at my building is a complete joke ( the driver actaully called me once at around 730pm and asked where my apartment was )
The UPS guy beeps everytime he pulls up to the building, so that way if you have a shipment that day, you know its yours....The FedEx guy can NEVER find my apartment, which worries me..
