Gizmodo recently had a reader send in a story about how after he had his iPhone 4 replaced, his antenna and proximity sensor issues are practically gone. He claims that the black bezel is lighter, the proximity sensor is now fully visible and the stainless steel band appears and feels to be coated, and feels more matte.
Could Apple be slowly adjusting production so a very limited number of new shipments are revised? While the revisions sounds like quick, ugly fixes, I'm sure many people would like their iPhone 4 replaced if this is true.
