[Merged] What case are you guys planning on buying for the new ipad?

I went without a case on my iPad 2--only use a smart cover and a Dodocase BOOKback, carry it in a sleeve when I leave the house and plan on doing the same thing with the iPad 3. Both the iPad and iPhone have such a great slim form factor that I hate to hide them in a case.
 
Ordered one myself. Couldn't beat the price. Not my favorite of the ones I was considering but ended up the best choice. Thanks again.
 
I picked up a smart cover already, because I think they are going to sell like hotcakes on launch day and wanted to be sure to get my color of preference.

I'm probably going to get a plastic shell for the back that is compatible with the smart cover.

I really want to get the Speck Smartshell, but if that takes to long to get updated, i may settle on the Targus VuComplete or the incipio smart feather.

IMO the Bear Motion cases are the best and I've tried a lot of em! Real leather, hold the iPad in place with strong Velcro, strong magnets for smart cover and just enough padding for those not so fresh moments of an unexpected drop :( had one for my iPad 2 and loved it!

+1 i just received the red one today. the quality is excellent, and yes real leather. great price too.

I also went with iCarbons... but I ordered the brushed aluminum one. I have iCarbons in the back of my iPhone and it makes sense there. I feel that it won't look as good on the iPad due to the exposed aluminum edges.

So that and a Smart Cover.. Minimalist.

I bought a Targus case that is specifically designed for the 3rd gen ipad. I pre-ordered from Amazon and it's already shipped, so I should have it one day before my ipad arrives on the 16th.
 
I also ordered the Targus Slim Case from Amazaon. I bought the indigo color (blue). I have an estimated arrival date of Monday, but I'm hoping it arrives on Friday!
 
i was planning on getting a louis vuitton sleeve but they are out of stock on their website so may just use it naked
 
I ordered a Incipio Lexington but I also kind of like the Targus Slim case. I see BB will have them in stock on launch day so I might pick one up anyway if I like it in person. May keep both or return the Lexington if I don't like the material when it arrives.
 
I got a TPU smart cover buddy and I'll be picking up a gray smart cover for my white iPad. I had a Speck Pixel Skin Wrap HD on my iPad 2 but it was too heavy and I didn't like that I couldn't detach the cover.
 
I've ordered a black leather smart case with mine. Should be all I need around the house & at work.
I might get a hard case as well depending on what you all post up here & the accessories section.
