Somehow, if it were "Micro$oft" added, I have the feeling MacRumors would have excluded the final parting shot sentence (not an Onion article) of "ow, that stings". o_O

Hell, I can't even use the F.B. term here to apply to Apple diehards w/out moderators sending me a warning notice. It's fine. I'll play by your rules, even if I find them petty & hypocritical. :D Happy to get that last paragraph off my chest.

I like how the ones calling Apple users "sheep" are the ones lining up the buy a phone from a company that had to have everyone send their explosive phones back to them a few months back.

This is disgusting, but watch the Apple-hating sheeple lap it up.

Yay! Pat yourselves on the back. What an incredible day you guys had today.

Just found that "sheeple " is "sheep+ apple". Huh... oh, I am not a sheeple.

That's awesome!

Anyone who gets offended by this needs to lighten up big time.
Lol.
I am not offended by this. Quite the contrary, it brings me good laugh.
Even as an Apple owner that's hilarious and true in some cases. Not all, but some. I own products from 4 platforms... Mac OS, Windows 10, iOS and Android. All have their pros and cons. If your buying or defending a product only because of the brand on it then sheeple could describe you.
Praise the last sentence. And also, I have products from all four platforms. I still think this is a right choice for me.
compatible
Each major update would surely break something. I cannot say windows 10 is that "compatible" anymore comparing with windows 7.
it forces updates on them and uses tactics to trick users into updating.
Only Windows 10 enterprise user and windows server user could disable update completely through group policy editor.

What's the word to describe the folks that use this word? Because none of these folks I've observed saying it seem very nice or objective.

  • jerk
    noun \ˈjərk\
    Popularity: Top 20% of words
    Definition of jerk
  1. 1a : an annoyingly stupid or foolish person was acting like a jerk

  2. b : an unlikable person; especially : one who is cruel, rude, or small-minded a selfish jerk

Consequently, these people have been known to use Windows, Android AND Apple (*But not Linux.
EVER.)

Pretty sure that Merriam-Webster won't be invited for any future Apple events.

Sheeple hahahahhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaa my stomach hurts, call 911 for SHEEPLEGATE lol

I can't say if the battery case price is worth it because I don't have one and lord knows I've made purchases that some might see as "not worth it", however, a friend of mine has that battery case and I actually found it pretty comfortable to hold and less bulky than others I've seen.

Hilarious how offended so many are by this. Pathetic!
So many? Yeah, all 3 of them (I counted) - one of which was dripping in sarcasm.

You're displaying confirmation bias. People see what they want to see. Apple haters are so desperate to see Apple fans take offence because they get pleasure from seeing the opposing 'team', 'tribe' get hurt.

Well... It's a dictionary and its job is to give examples or definitions in a clear and easy-to-understand manner. If that example instantly leads you to the meaning of that word, then it has done a good job.

Excellent example by someone here a few days ago:

In response to the as yet unknown, next iphone, with no idea of price, specs, looks, or anything............

(and I quote)

"I'll be buying the most expensive one either way, hopefully the "edition"

:)

I'm referring to compatibility, not stability. Windows 7 is more compatible than Windows 10. Both are more compatible than any Mac in terms of application choices.

Each major Windows update, for me, fixes problems. I have WAY more issues with yearly iOS updates than Windows. I rarely, almost never, run into issues on my desktop.

With Windows I've just avoided the "first to upgrade" to the new OS. Microsoft has recently stated they are going to do feature upgrades every 6 months. I'm not too thrilled about this, as I don't like major upgrades that often. Major, feature updates are prone to break things.

Anyone who gets offended by this article is the very reason it actually happened and they should take a long look at themselves in the mirror.

Or alternatively open another dictionary and look up the words "rational" and "objective" for the next time they are about to post a comment.
Unfortunately, rational and objectiveness is something some users here seriously lack. And it's usually the same exact people each time. The type that get you banned because they don't like what you have to say, even though, they could call you all kinds of things and nothing happens.
