I've been looking at acrylic displays as well. I just think the aluminum is so handsome. 😎But that's just me. I've seen a few of the 20 inch cinema display is going on eBay for around 20 or $25 lately.

They can be found quite cheaply, but that is without the PSU

I feel like people sold the PSUs when their displays died, or when they went to dispose of them. This probably left the people who take things from recycling centers, selling displays without the PSUs
