Apple really needs to implement the message delete/syncing feature on the Apple Watch. Im really growing tired of having to manualily do this. It could not be that difficult.

Yup, one of the main reasons I got rid of mine. To be fair it does that on all devices especially SMS text but the Watch always seemed to be the worst. This applies to Mail as well.

Well for me mail works as it should. If I delete an email on any device it deletes everywhere even the watch. Including deleting from the watch first.

It’s certainly not a big enough deal for me to dump the watch. It does however make zero sense.

Message deletion is not synced across Apple Watch and iPhone and there is no way to enable this. It is not possible to even bulk delete Messages conversations on Apple Watch either ?

Agreed. Also, handwriting messages on AW has gotten worse, not better. They moved the UI too much, where it's better to setup up pre-written messages.

Uh yea that’s the point of the thread.

I find it very aggravating. I’ve tried all the steps in articles on how to get messages and the unread message counter synched correctly, but still haven’t found the solution. I just conclude that it’s user error on my part, and end up powering down and powering up my phone and my watch twice every morning and manually clearing messages. When I’m out running errands and potentially expecting important messages from my loved ones, I don’t want my watch to say I have unread messages when I don’t.
