Meta Sued Over Tracking iPhone Users Despite Apple's Privacy Features

Meta is tracking without the Apple users permission, they will defend themselves by saying their own T & C's allow them to track and the user has signed up to them, but I think they are in big trouble

I left FB about a year ago. Found out FB charges a fee to anyone/employers who want to eavesdrop on their employees to see what the employee is doing regardless if it's on company time or personal time. Anyone wanna say 'Big Brother'?

So if I, as an iOS developer, broke Apple's Developer T&Cs by sharing information about a developer beta on this forum, you (as an Apple user) could initiate legal proceedings against me?
 
And that is why I have zero social media apps on any of my devices.
If you can not use it with Apple Safari, I will NOT use the service.

Social media can NOT be trusted, EVER.

And yet they create profiles and track you anyways.

If you go into media and contacts in your profile settings, it'll give you an option to open links externally

Feels great to know I never signed up for Nark's Facebook. Seems like they just screw their users, sell users data, decide what is misinformation based off their "Facts". Evil empire at best. Here's hoping this knucklehead and his company incur some hefty fines from tracking iPhone users. 🤘

If I were apple I would yank every Meta app from the app store until they get their **** right.
 
I honestly hate the in-app browsers, and always switch out of them. If this is a real I’ll take part. Last time I got like $100 bucks from Meta. HAHA

Even though microphone is switched off on setting they still listen to you. Tested few times and suggestions come up in FB. Disgusting behaviour. Wish I could seek damages as invasion of privacy

Weirdly enough , I never leave home...thats the great thing about having your own VPN, even when I am out and about, I am home. In malls I will often use "flight mode" or just turn WiFi and Bluetooth off.
I also use a LARGE hosts file from https://someonewhocares.org/ to block trackers, advertisers , scammers
I have multiple throw away email addresses.
If I must subscribe before I am able to complete a purchase, I buy from elsewhere.
I use Apple pay when I can, cash at times, no electronic loyalty cards, the ones who will stamp my loyalty card get my business.
I report 100% of spam to spamcop etc.
If polling firms want my info, I want $100 for my time, up front, or they can go away.
I have ad blockers, tracking blockers etc on my web browsers.




They may track me, but I do everything I can make to make life hard for them.

Do you think all that’s necessary on a daily basis? Seems like a lot of work.
 
I want to double down on what I said earlier about how class action lawsuits only serve the lawyers and not the victims. For some reason a handful of people felt that it warranted a disagree. Lol. Shows you how uninformed people can be.

Maybe he needs to have the emotion chip installed like Data did on Star Trek. Wait, maybe he is Data and traveled back in time. Certainly there is a remarkable resemblance.
