I don't know what you guys are talking about--an $8 X Premium gives you plenty of access to Grok.Yes. But no way I’m going to pay 20 dollars per month. It’s just too much.

I would trust Zuck as far as I can throw him. So if I use Meta’s standalone app for my company’s research, Meta would never use this proprietary info to try to sell advertising to me or god forbid go ahead and give my sensitive info (cogs, ad spend, revenue) to my competitors, right? RIGHT?
No it's not... it's about Meta AI. And AI in general. Which X is undoubtedly a major player now.I will literally set $8 on fire before giving it to X.
Regardless, this thread is about chatGPT, not Grok.

I typed the wrong provider, but it's still not about X.
Which is good since you don't seem to know much about it.Grok is free to use. If you subscribe to X you get a more advanced version. You don't have to pay it $8.
I'm sorry, I thought the guy you responded to was talking about improvements to Grok; not ChatGPT (which is also no charge if you have 365, which I have personally and through work).I will literally set $8 on fire before giving it to X.

I do hope they become a big alternative. They offer something different that all the existing models do not.Grok has gotten ridiculously good in such a short amount of time.
You say that like all the other tech bros are on a mission for peace or something. They arent working to a higher calling. They want your money just the same as Zuckerberg and yes Tim is more concerned about how your new iPhone purchase boosts the share price, then if you think he is changing the world. All Zuckerberg does is buy or copy other successful products. Meta is the most creatively bankrupt of all tech companies. They’ve truly brought nothing of lasting value into the world and are more like a giant parasite that sucks up attention and ad dollars.
Apple is getting really sad here... like with ALL that money they couldn't put something out NOW
Yeah since most Apple Intelligence issues and complaints according to users are in iPhones, but I didn’t hear iPad and Mac users complain about Apple Intelligence, the reason behind that is iPads and Macs have better compatibility with Apple Intelligence plus they have more power and juice in their hardwareYeah I agree. Interestingly in seeing no real CPU or memory impact at all on my MacBook so far.
It seems like Apple is being very careful rolling out features so far.
