microsoft modern mouse with macbook pro?

I'm looking at microsoft modern mouse for my macbook pro.

The problem is I'm not sure if it will work with my macbook pro. I checked the compatibility disclaim, the mouse says yes, but found many reviews on amazon that the mouse won't work with mac, regardless what Microsoft says.

So just want confirmation from real people and real use case. Anyone can help is appreciated!

My opinion only, but for around that price, I'd be looking at the Logitech "Anywhere MX 2":

I used mx2 with mac. very laggy, maybe due to blutooh

Looks to me like it'd work 100% fine as it's a normal 2 button+scroll mouse.

The BT MS Sculpt Comfort was one where there were issues with the haptic side Windows button when on the Mac, but otherwise works perfectly (using one as I type this).

I tried that mouse, along with a MS Keyboard, and both had pretty bad Bluetooth issues on my Mac. The cursor would skip around (as well as keyboard would drop keys)
