I'll have to wait for true-black. Instead, I'll go with silver. I can't unsee the blue.
Not all iPhones have black anymore. They mostly switched to Midnight BLue … mostly. It's weird that Apple hasn't made a pure black Mac since the polycarb MacBook. But it's been the default on iPhones since day1.
That's your blues, not mine.Too much blue in the username, too. Can't unsee it.![]()
Just watch this. This should fill the void.I'll have to wait for true-black. Instead, I'll go with silver. I can't unsee the blue.
My current MBP is in space gray. I'm not a fan of it. I wish I got silver. I like solid colors (not in-between) for my laptop. Not sure if the manufacturing process is a problem to produce a matte black MacBook air/pro but people would be scrambling to buy them if made.
I am probably wrong but I think apple will eventually release a darker space gray and/or a matte black option down the road. It will just be another checkmark on their list of ways to get you to upgrade. $$$
I just got a MBP 14" and am enjoying it. However the OCD in me would contemplate an upgrade down the road if a darker color option was available. Skins don't really do it for me but with the speaker grills and entire bottom not being able to be covered isn't ideal.
It was never advertised as "Black"... so I fail to see the point of this thread.I'll have to wait for true-black. Instead, I'll go with silver. I can't unsee the blue.

I want a really Deep Black. They could call it Deep Space Black.
MIT creates blackest black that is darker than Vantablack
