Milanese loop discussion (merged)

Would you wear the Milanese Loop? It is the one I want but I can't decide if it is meant to be gender neutral or not.

If I was to buy any Apple watch, that's the only one I'd buy. After today though, don't think I can stomach it. It's just not that impressive, and I already wear a watch I love, but that's besides the point. Yes, Milanese is nice.

I like it from both a looks and price aspect. My main worry is that it wouldn't look right with the sport watch that I plan to get.

Compared to the links it's not as great looking honestly. I'd opt for leather over the loop every day of the week.

I don't like the $50 sport bands so I figure it's the best looking for the $150 range of bands

If cost isn't a concern, get the link bracelet. However, the milanese loop is a great alternative for anyone, man or woman. Milanese bands are back in style and many higher priced watches have them.

Unfortunately, from purely a looks standpoint, the one I like best is the Space Black Stainless with Space Black Link Bracelet. Which is $1100. Naturally. Boy it's a beaut though.

Same boat but I think the solution may be the space grey sport edition... ought to give a nice contrast rather than the not quite matched look of the regular aluminium sport.

Watch Sport + Milanese Loop = Best Combo

This combination looks sick. I'm liking it far more than the Stainless Steel + Milanese Loop.

You get the two Sports Bands for wearing casually or when you're active. You get a Milanese Loop for when you're wearing a shirt with collars. I mean, you are going to need both straps if you're going to be active. When you're jogging, do you want all your sweat getting in between your Milanese Loop? I imagine not.

38mm Watch Sport + 2x Sports Straps + 1x Milanese Loop = $498

38mm Watch + 1x Milanese Loop = $649
38mm Watch + 2x Sports Straps + 1x Milanese Loop = $698

Seems like a no-brainer to me, especially since Stainless Steel will smudge and look less pretty than Aluminium when you actually wear it on a daily basis. Who else is getting a Watch Sport with a non-Sports band?

I tried it out on that site but I don't think they go together as well as the normal Watch Sport.
