Exact combination I am thinking about getting. Have the Space Grey Aluminum with the black band for day-to-day use and the Milanese loop for when I need something more 'professional'.

I would wear it, and will probably be wearing it. Out of all the bands I like it best. Maybe because there is no way I am spending $449 on a linked bracelet.

Lordy yes, in fact I used to have something similar. Breathable..

Yes, that is the one I will be buying. I just dont know if you will be able to apply it to a Sport watch.

That would be my plan. Space Grey Sport + Milanese band. Yum.

Now that we know that we will be able to purchase bands separately (you can look on website and see what their individual prices will be) I just have one concern; will we be able to apply an :apple:Watch Band (SS) to a Sport :apple:Watch?!

In my opinion the milanese loop is a mans watch strap and not a womans.

This sort of style mesh bracelet was used by astronauts for the speedmaster.

Not only that, I still consider them to be very hot and in still in fashion, they are quite pricey but often put on big sized divers watches.

I think the milanese loop strap is the only thing I really like so far about the apple watch.

That's exactly what I'll be doing. Pink 38m Sport + 38 Milanese loop. Then, when gen 2 comes with a new killer feature like the iPad 2, I will sell the watch face with the extra pink band. I think that Apple will allow upgraders to buy the 2nd gen watch face only. This way, I can have my cake now and still upgrade if it's significant enough.

Watch Sport + Milanese Loop = Best Combo

I'm getting the 38mm SS Milanese combo with the black sport band as extra. It's weird, but it's cheaper to get it that way than the other way around. Seems like it would be the same price no matter which way, but I like discounts, so no argument here!

You might want to check your math.

I was thinking of this same combo, as I LOVE the SS Black look but $1100 is too much at this point, even $700 is kinda insane but..
I dont know if that macbook aluminum finish would work with th polished milanese. I think ill stick with the SS for now.

Why would you put a band that costs more than the watch it self on it? Besides the two silvers would not match. The aluminum watch silver is the same as the current MacBooks, the milanese band is closer to Tiffany & co silver.

You're not talking about the Milanese band, are you?

I think the answer is yes, but it wouldn't look good. The clasp of the SS loop will not match with the aluminum watch. BUT its not a big deal

Of the metal bands, the Milanese Loop is my favourite. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I could afford the damned thing.

I can't wear synthetic, leather or fabric wrist straps because it irritates my skin and looks terrible but steel bands seem to be OK. The cheapest Watch + steel band is over A$700 so that's me out.

Trying to find a heart-rate fitness tracker with a steel band that isn't an Apple Watch is pretty much impossible.

If it wasn't so expensive, for sure.

It's only $149, which is actually cheap as many here were expecting it to be priced higher, closer to the link bracelet.

A number of members seem intent on pairing the aluminum with the Milanese Loop. However, whether they'll go as nicely together in real life as in the renders is another question.
