Again, whilst driving I had forgotton who my football team were playing next.
OK Google, and they are playing Alloa next, reported moments later.
How can that be considered "extremely annoying" ??
I concentrate on the road while driving and don’t worry about such things.

If I need an answer I wait and type the question to bing or google.

Again, different strokes for different folks.

What bollocks!
You never ask a passenger anything? Like, what is the street number I am dropping you off at etc etc. Or listen to a passenger asking you something? It is perfectly safe to use a smart assistant whilst driving, especially when the response is read out to you or the phone call is made for you.
If you cannot do anything other than "concentrate on driving" you would have failed to pass your driving test in the UK. It is essential when driving during your test that you can react to the instructor's commands and act on them accordingly.

You’re trying to build a use case for yourself that doesn’t work for me, especially driving while driving.

Your response is the one that is bullocks by convincing yourself you have the one answer.

I don't need to try and build any use case. Having a smart assistant that allows one to get directions, make phone calls, answer topical questions, etc etc all without needing to divert one eyes from the road or move ones hands from the steering wheel can surely only be considered a good thing. It certainly doesn't merit a response that implies that using a smart assistant whilst driving is unsafe.
And I still cannot see how it can be considered "extremely annoying".

I don't use these so-called "smart" assistants, that is my use case. And what has been expressed in prior posts is my opinion. Simple as that. If you have integrated these "smart" assistants into your digital life style, more power to you.

And you still haven't explained why you find them "extremely annoying".
There is a big difference between not using them and finding them "extremely annoying".
