Latest Prosser rumours have the week of September 7th bringing no iPhones, but only iPads and Apple Watch 6. The question is: what iPads? Mini-LED Pros? Or revamped Air?

If revamped Air, perhaps also Mini 6, since the Mini 5 was just a smaller version of the latest iPad Air, and announced at the same time with it in March 2019. I’m hoping they both have an all-screen design with no home button. Oh, and Pencil 2 compatibility, so I can use the same pencil on my 12.9 Pro and Mini.

I'm more willing to believe that the Mini 6 will come out in 2021. Apple gives it the silent treatment.

If they do that to the air, I don’t know that there would be enough distinguishing it from the pros in both function and price.

My bet is the mini won’t be updated for another couple years, unless they make a new pro version.

According to the most reliable leakers:

iPad 8- this fall
iPad Air 4- Q4 2020 or Q1 2021
iPad Mini 6- Q1 2021
Mini-LED iPad Pro- Q1 or Q2 2021

I think we won’t see the iPad Mini 6 this year, it will likely be released alongside the Mini-LED Pros.
About the iPad Air, it’s unclear it will be released this year or next year.

Those with the Mini 5's are not in a rush to upgrade unless the Mini 6 is a HUGE upgrade. My thoughts at least

Both the iPad Air and iPad mini were updated together at the same time last year. Because as @Mac47 points out, the iPad mini IS the Air (and Apple should finally rename it to that too). Just saying.

Really, really hoping to see a Mini Pro. I always buy up to future proof a bit and at the Mini size it’ll be perfect for the cockpit on a Pivot Mount/Kneeboard.
