What license issues? There are no license costs for using TB. The parts themselves are expensive, but there are no license fees.

It's out today... only a year and month on from the announcement. I've been waiting expectantly for this, but the comments about Wi-Fi and Bluetooth interference put me off. Has anyone figured out what the culprit is? I wonder if it could be the fan? It's surprising that it would interfere so much if it was underneath a Mac Mini. I understand a little bit better if it was on top.

The culprit is USB3, but why it is happening is anyones guess. But it is not the only USB3 item that has the problem.

Does the interference go away if you run it on Firwire only?

good question. as using the bluray drive and using the hdd as a time machine don't need the extra speed of usb3.

It does... You must have a USB 3.0 cable attached for the interference to occur.

mMMm... I think I have to get a 3TB model... 50$ shipping and a 20$ Europe adapter.. I think I'll see if they get some european partners first.
