Miss Teen South Carolina gets it horribly wrong

That was just embarrassingly bad. Enough to make me uncomfortable watching her. Yikes. Pretty, yes. Witty, no.
But the fact she answered something means she isn't fit for politics. Now if all she said was "I can't recall" then she might be going somewhere
Excepting ones suffering from early stages of Alzheimer's, most politicians go for the "many words, but little said" approach to questions they don't have an answer to (their strategist didn't give them one for it yet
). She followed that perfectly, and even mentioned things completely unrelated (South Africa? In this context, it's like answering "9/11" to a question about taxes")
By the way, can we get an "adults only" special forum, please? What about people who like to talk about macs, politics and porn? We are probably a majority, and we deserve a place here!

I somehow doubt that they used made up statistics on a national television show. I think it was 4 out of 5 statistics you read on the internet is made up. I don't think the judges are stupid enough to use some anonymous statistic for a quite important part of a pageant that the whole nation and more is watching.
She is probably younger than you think, and scared to death.
