Weak review? Nah...just stating the specs of the new phones that really aren't that exciting or groundbreaking. We should be coming to expect that from 's' series devices by now.

Want something nice, new, and exciting! Wait for the iPhone 7.
You're too old to be trolling

Gotta be one of his weakest reviews and based upon the time he actually did it shows his lack of interest.
Funny how everyone loves MKBHD until he gives a review people don't like. I love my iPhone 6S, and I always love MKBHD, but what would you want from a 6S review? The specs are the only thing that changed. He talked about Live Photos, 3D Touch, and the new Touch ID. Those are the things that changed and he gave his thoughts. There's not a ton more to discuss. He gave his opinion on the camera, and the overall phone. There is just not much to say. This was not an iOS 9 review, so he did not go into detail about it.

I hate to tell everyone, but S model reviews are never very exciting. I don't understand what you guys are looking for. If you want a detailed review of the design, then watch his 6 and 6+ review.

He doesn't care for live photos, but I really love them. This weekend I took a lot of photos with a GF and being able to watch a little clip when viewing them really brings you back to the moment way more than a photo can, and it is more convenient than taking videos.

granted he mentions he would like it better if he was taking photos of people, which is what it is really for IMO.

edit: and he is wrong about viewing live photos. You just need IOS 9, not 3D touch.

Yeah I didn't really feel anything after watching his review, and I love his reviews. Didn't make me feel like I didn't want it nor really want it.

I watched the review from The Verge. Might be the first review I've watched from them and I really like their style. Very stylish video production and the guy gives his own opinion quite a bit.

He is used to Live Photos and I think if I remember he said the same about them a few years back after using them for a while.

Personally I think he could have maybe had a camera comparison with at least the iPhone 6

There really is not much to say other than the new features. It's the same phone we got last year but faster. I am totally fine with it, but it does not make for much of a review. S models are never anything new just a refinement.

Yeah that's the thing. I love the phone but as far as "new features" that are worth a lot of commentary, there just aren't many. 3D Touch is awesome and will be a game changer, but there isn't much to talk about when it's application is currently only in apple apps and a handful of third party apps.

MKBHD is the best tech reviewer in my opinion, *inspite of* his biase towards android. That's saying something, and I think he does a good job being impartial and telling it like it is when it comes to Apple products.

I totally agree. While it has some really cool stuff, there is nothing the 6S/+ do that is worth a full blown review. I know people get upset when reviews don't give Apple all the love, but come on. The 6S is a great phone, just nothing exciting to make a review about.

He is awesome, and there is not a video he has done that I don't like. While yes I think he is an android fan, he gets an invite to Apple invites so he has to be doing something right in Apple's eyes. I think he is always fair in his reviews.

He's not just an Android fan, his main computer is a Mac Pro so he obviously likes Apple products.

That's correct and he also uses a 13" Macbook Air for his mobile editing I believe.

Now, if he said his favourite laptop was a Chromebook, then that's definitely bias!

I'm sure in his last setup video he also said he uses an iPad so yeah, he's definitely invested in Apple products.

Being a fan/user of any camp of tech products is irrelevant to the impartiality of the reviews.

If you want to see utterly biased reviews (reviewers bought off by Microsoft, Norton and major game publishers), go to sites such as ZDnet and PCWorld. Then you'll appreciate the work done by MKBHD.

Wanna know who's biased and obviously hates iPhones? pocketnow
How do you figure? They review all their mobile products. I don't understand this thought that if you don't fall in love with every Apple product that some how you bias.

Pocketnow reviews a ton of products from android because there are so many of them. Sure some of the reviewers prefer Android over Apple, but you prefer Apple over android correct? I don't see bias in most of their reviews. They just compared the iPhone 6S plus to the Note 5, and it was even. They listed the pro and cons of each, and it seemed very fair.

Sorry but not every reviewer can fall in love with each product Apple builds. There are some things the iPhone is falling behind in that it use to lead the market in. Like screen and battery. Reviews are pointing those things out. It does not make it a bad phone, but no phone is perfect.

Ok cool. I remember when he did a video of the most overpriced tech. The Mac Pro was on there.
Yeah it's an expensive computer. What Apple product is not overpriced? Like I said before, I love my iPhone 6S and don't want to use an android. But we all know the iPhone's are crazy overpriced in terms of specs and materials used. Now demand says they are priced just right, but we all know the profit margin on Apple products are insane.
