Like screen and battery.
Can't really look at paper specs. The 6S Plus has better battery life than the Note5. The iPhone is lower res, but it has one of the most accurate colors.
Like screen and battery.
I am not talking about pure specs and what they mean for daily use. I only saying those two things are better on android phones for the most part. I could careless about the screen, but it's still better. My point is that an S models don't change much, and it's hard to come up with things to say. He can't say the screen is better because it's the same one from the 6, and the battery life is no better. What do you expect from him? Can't really look at paper specs. This thread is not arguing what is better, so I could careless whether the 6S+ or the note 5 have better battery life. Each year android is putting better and better displays in their phones that give reviewers something to talk about. The iPhone only gets a screen update once every 2 years. These kinds of changes make it hard for reviewers to come up with new things to talk about. I am simply saying the S updates don't make great review, and in MKBHD, it was not a bad review, but more of what can he talk about. The 6S+ has better battery life than the Note 5, so it's not "falling behind". If you're talking from an improvement from the non S, then yes the battery life and screen stayed the same.
Everything else about the phone upgraded.
You said the iPhone's battery life is falling behind, when it's not. This thread is not arguing what is better, so I could careless whether the 6S+ or the note 5 have better battery life. So you are going to continue to argue which one you think is better. I could careless. Also this was not about the 6S+, this was about iPhone 6S review. In that case yes the 6S battery life is nothing special at all. I can think of several android phones that best it. Again I could careless. I will say this for the 3rd time, why would this need to be talked about when it did not change? You said the iPhone's battery life is falling behind, when it's not.
You say there's not much to talk about because the screen is the same when everything else about the phone has changed.

As for the screen. Again we are talking about the iPhone 6S not the plus. The 6S is worst than the 6+ which makes it well behind a lot of the android phones. Again I could careless. My 6S looks fine to me, but if I put it side by side with another android phone, the android phone would look better. I don't think this is a bad thing at all, but what are reviews suppose to say about the screen? If they complain about it, then you guys come crying on here saying how they are bias and have no idea how to review.
So everything else changed? I believe MKBHD talked about each thing that did. He talked about 3D Touch, camera, Live Photos, and Touch ID. What else was he suppose to cover? Beyond those things nothing did change. Is the only thing you are looking for him to say is that the iPhone is the best phone on the market? It's seems like that is what everyone expects from a review on here. It's not the case, and I am tired of people complaining about review just because they don't like what they say.
He admitted in his preview that he had the new iphone for a couple of weeks and that his review would be upcoming shortly. Folks like specific reviewers and their opinions beforehand. Didn't happen since the review was after lots of folks already got theirs and came to their own opinions/conclusions about their new iphone.
His review was later than usual almost to the point of just doing one instead of wanting to do one.
Ok well I don't agree on the battery thing, but that is fine. No one is talking about the battery in the new phones other than to say they are about the same as last years models. I don't know why he needed to tell us about the battery. How many reviews came before his? His opinion would be the same as last years, so why does he need to restate it?Ok you don't care, I get that. What I'm saying is that the iPhone battery isn't "falling behind". Android phones that do have better battery life aren't in the same performance class.
I'm not saying MKBHD didn't talk about the other things, I'm refuting your point that there's nothing to talk about. He talked about the other changes yes, but there was no battery or performance analysis. His review was essentially reading Apple's spec and feature list.
I'm going to wait for a real review from Anandtech.
also his ridiculous comment on the whole "Steve Jobs said they would never make a stylus, but here you go, they made one"
You really think the the iPad pro is a creation device? What makes it any different than the iPad Air 2? It's bigger yes, but what else? Is bigger the only thing that was holding the iPad Air 2 back from being a creation device? I love my iPad Air 2, but I can't do my work on it. I still want be able to work using an iPad pro. It's just an oversized iPad Air.i ignore anything MKBHD says after he said the iPad Pro is not a creation device and still consumption lol also his ridiculous comment on the whole "Steve Jobs said they would never make a stylus, but here you go, they made one"

You would not care to share why this is funny to you?
exactly. Pencil is something completely different.I thought it was pretty funny at first, but c'mon, Jobs was talking about a phone!

My point that you are trying to refute was not saying there is absolutely nothing to talk about, but that the core phone is the same. The screen, the battery (slightly smaller, with pretty much the same performance), and the design. The added new software feature which he covered all of them. He talked about the camera. Other than that what is there to say? It's faster, I believe he he mention that too. Just face it, S models are not that exciting of a review. What is compelling about a phone that looks like last years model? As long as you cover the new stuff there nothing to be said about the look and feel. I am not sure what you expected. Did he do a review for the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge plus? Nope because it was the same phone, but with a bigger size and a few updates. It's not just because it was an iPhone. That bs comment needs to just be retired.
So a real review will be if Anandtech says how great they think the iPhones are? I don't see you liking it either if they don't say it's the best phone on the market.
None of the reviews I have seen have been this love feast for the iPhone 6S/plus. It's a solid phone with updated specs and a few new tricks. What more can they say?
Ok so do you own an iPhone 6s/plus? I am trying to understand why you need such a detailed review. The phone has been out for almost 2 weeks, and there have been a ton of reviews posted. What kind of information are you looking to get?I just said that he could have done a battery and performance analysis. I know Anandtech will go in depth with their review. Their prelim was more insightful than MKBHD's full review.

Has MKBHD ever done a review like that for any device? Heck no, so why in the world are you even be bashing his iPhone 6S review? You have got to be joking me. Maybe try and watch some of his reviews first before making comments like you have. The extent of his battery and performance test are based on real world usage, not some bs lab controlled test. Honestly know the content you are arguing before you post.Again....battery and performance analysis. In controlled tests to be more specific. Why do I have to justify wanting a more detailed review? This is a tech reviewers job!
Edit: I'm hoping Anandtech will cover the TSMC vs Samsung SoC sourcing.

That's not how team crispy rollsCalm down dude, I wasn't the only one underwhelmed. I was expecting more from him considering he said in his preview video that he was going to spend a lot of time on it. He could have exported a video from iMovie from the 6 vs 6S to give some context on performance.
I personally don’t need to see a review to tell me I have the most amazing battery life for a phone. It’s great for the plus.Ok so do you own an iPhone 6s/plus? I am not mad. I am trying to understand why you are even posting in this thread. You don't understand MKBHD's videos. Nothing that you are asking for is anything he has even done before. You should just look else where for you info. This was not the type of review he does for every iPhone, but for an S model this is to be expected.Calm down dude, I wasn't the only one underwhelmed. I hear you. I got the phone and have loved it since day one. I don't understand what people were looking for from MKBHD.I personally don’t need to see a review to tell me I have the most amazing battery life for a phone. It’s great for the plus.
